34 weeks

How far along: 34 Weeks {May 29th}
Total weight gain: 22 lbs
Maternity clothes: LIVING in hubby's plain white tees, whatever shorts I can get my hands on and am the most comfortable in sports bras!
Bump Size: I feel like belly is bigger than it needs to be, I can't believe she is 4 + lbs though!
Sleep: Sleeping great! I don't want to curse myself but I'm surprised I'm still sleeping as comfortable as I am.
Best moment this week: My 3 day weekend with the husband! It was so great to have him all to myself for 3 days! We even got a good nesting sesh in on Saturday! My car is Reagan ready:: Clean from top to bottom {and cracks vacuumed}, car seat base ~installed~, baby mirror [CHECK], cling sunshades *Engaged*!
Miss Anything: Nope.
Movement: Reagan is still quite the little mover, she has had a mess of hiccups lately- and Hubby and I love feeling her little rhythmic bounces.
Food Cravings: I had really been wanting some delish fish tacos, so Hubby made not one but TWO trips to the grocery so that I could cook up some mean tacos!! I limited myself to 3, but I could have eatin 7...at least.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Red Meat YUCK! This whole pregnancy thing may have changed the way I look at a hamburger forever.
Gender: Sweet Baby Girl
Labor Signs: Nothing serious, still some menstrual like cramping and some crazy braxton hicks during\after a walk yesterday.
Symptoms: Not many complaints out of me! I know the most uncomfortable weeks are ahead, so trying to enjoy these days that I feel great.
Belly Button in or out: Still technically consider it an innie
Wedding rings on or off: I would officially say off, I can force them on - which I do - buut my puffy fingers don't like it very much.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Sunday I had some hormonal issues, but other than that I am SUPER happy.
Looking forward to: Spending these last couple weeks with hubby and enjoying our quiet time before our little princess arrives.

Favorites {Shower List}

After having such a great shower, where I received LOTS of amazing things, I wanted to share some of my favorites!

What Hubby and I think will be a lifesaver for the sleepless nights and a great nap time inducer! The tranquil turtle lights up imitating waves on the ceiling and walls and plays either wave sounds or the most relaxing instrumental. It's amazing, Hubby and I laid there in awe for quite some time. The best part is that it has an timer, turning it off after 23 minutes so you don't have to worry about wasting batteries.

Burts Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter! YUM! I wish I would have known about this a lot sooner! It has all the great stretch mark defending ingredients without making you smell like you spent the day in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. I have been slathering it on giving my belly soft supple skin. This will be my staple for all my future pregnancies.

The car seat protector, helping to protect my back seat from spills-oopsies-& the nasty dents caused by the car seat frame. This one even has pockets below to store toys, snacks, ect.

The diaper bag of my dreams, Timi and Leslie-Charlie. This of course is a very personal choice, depending on your style and needs, but this one fit me perfectly! & of course comes with all the necessary diaper bag extras. My advice is choose something you will love to carry around for the next couple years, it will taking over the position of your purse. So love it.

Lastly, this to die for mama hen and her chicks toy! The little chicks fit into the ball and have corresponding color panels. I think this will be a fun friend for playtime.

Here are some of my favorite outfits {it was so hard to choose favorites!}::

Baby Shower Love

 What an amazing baby shower!! Big thanks to my dear friend Cassi who took the time and energy to put this on for Baby Reagan and I.

We couldn't have asked for better weather! The sun was shining and there was a slight Spring breeze in the air. Magical.

It was so great to spend the afternoon with family and friends! We ate lots of sweets, played some great baby shower games, and there was even a 'headband making station'! I walked away with some adorable headbands for Reagan that will let the world know how cute our baby girl is!

What party isn't complete without a Champagne station?! & Sparkling Cider for the 3 preggers that were in attendance.

 One of the great games we played!

And here is the nursery after stealing the shower decorations! What great accents to Reagan's beautiful room.

Blankie

I wanted to make a special blankie for our baby Reagan, I was able to find some super sweet fabric at my local fabric store {one of which being the minky, I could curl up in that!}

I am by no means a sewing genius, so I'm going to let the pro's do the explaining in the blog HERE.

Here are my fabrics wrong side together pinned and ready to be sewn.

Sweet little blankie turned right-side out

And here we are after finishing the edges!

I hope Reagan loves the blankie as much as I do!

Nursery Pics!

Reagan's nursery!
I've read so many things about decorating a nursery, everything from "don't bother" to "make it your own personal retreat".  I wanted to capture something relaxing and peaceful while keeping the room simple, clean and fun. After all, I will be spending lots of time in here over the next couple months!

 We started by painting the [Sand Dollar] walls lilac gray, with fresh white trim.

I definitely wanted to have some natural wood in the room, I was able to score this amazing piece with some old rusty brackets still attached. Reagan's Nana suggested we use it as a shelf! PERFECT!!

The shelf will be the ideal spot for displaying her sweet knick-knacks and priceless goodies.
So far, we have numerous dried roses/wheat stalks in vases. A picture of me with my great-grandparents, Reagan's guardian angel carved by my Papa. Two pairs of oh-so-adorable shoes, and other trinkets.

Reagan's Nana was able to score this great crib off craigslist! My favorite part is the drawer in the bottom, it is a great place to store her extra bedding! We've even got the baby monitor up! Boy are we ready!

Don't mind the picture-less picture frames, I have the wall art done - just need to get it printed off!

I made that "R" hanging, and am quite in love with it.

And of course, her collection of books!

Here we are at the changing station! I can't wait to fill her little organizer with lotions, potions and probably a toy or two for distraction!

I really, really wanted a wood plank wall. But since we are renters, and I doubt Mr. Landlord would feel the same, Hubby and I came up with this wall accent.

Love my comfy glider, I was so on the fence with if I wanted one/what kind I wanted and how much I wanted to spend on one. Proud to say, that I am very happy with my choice not to mention the slammin good deal I got for it!

I can't post this picture without mentioning my cloth diapers!! HELLO! Are they not the cutest thing?! I love their bright colors and soft interiors. The metal can to the left will act as my diaper pail!

Also want to point out all the storage in the changing table, very excited to fill it with tinie-tiny outfits, onesies, and booties.

Both Hubby and I love our nursery! It's nice to just spend time in there thinking about what our future holds and imagining our little girls life.
