38 Weeks...Still Cookin

Last picture taken of me pregnant

How far along: 38 Weeks {June 26th}
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Loving them!
Bump Size: Large and In Charge!
Sleep: Seem to be better this past week, I think the cooler weather made a big difference! But now we are back to warm weather so we'll see how it goes.
Best moment this week: Just soaking up the time before little Miss comes. Enjoying the quiet mornings and evenings with Hubby.
Miss Anything: Margaritas in the hot summer sun!
Movement: Even with her little body being cramped in there she still manages to wiggle and shimmy! I love the random elbow sticking out of my side or when she crams her booty under my left rib cage. She still gets the hiccups, but not as frequently as a couple weeks ago.
Food Cravings: Big sweet tooth, although I was able to control myself...for the most part...okay I ate a LOT of ice cream...
Anything making you queasy or sick: I can finally eat red meat! The smell of it cooking is still icky, but at least I can stomach it.
Gender: Sweet Baby Girl
Labor Signs: Body is still gearing up for labor!
Symptoms: The wicked awful no good heartburn is back! AHH! Make it stop!
Belly Button in or out: The top sticks out, but the bottom is stil in a little. It's quite the sight to behold.
Wedding rings on or off: Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Another great week!
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl!

37 Weeks, Full Term?!

How far along: 37 Weeks {June 19th}
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Loving them!
Bump Size: Still Growing everyday, Hubby even noticed it's increase! At my 37 week checkup, doctor measured my belly at 39 centimeters!
Sleep: Waking up about once a night to empty my bladder, lots of adjusting pillows and switching sides. Wake up to some pretty nasty contractions during the wee morning hours.
Best moment this week: Lots of lazy days, trying to relax and enjoying doing absolutely nothing while I still can!
Miss Anything: Just general mobility.
Movement: I guess this marks the week I notice a change in her movement. She must be running out of room in there! I feel lots of elbows, knees and feet sticking out from every which direction!
Food Cravings: Nothing really stuck out at me...
Anything making you queasy or sick: Red Meat...
Gender: Sweet Baby Girl
Labor Signs: Body is still gearing up for labor!
Symptoms: Yes.
Belly Button in or out: When I lay down a little bit of it sticks out, and when I laugh or sneeze it sticks out. Otherwise it's flat.
Wedding rings on or off: No more rings!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Another great week! I like sitting in Reagan's room rocking in my glider.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl!

Look 'ma no hands!

36 Weeks!

How far along: 36 Weeks {June 12th}
Total weight gain: 25 lbs. Indulging in my cravings took a toll this week!
Maternity clothes: Loving them!
Bump Size: She weighs over 6 pounds! The belly now likes to peak out from under my shirts.
Sleep: Sleeping is starting to get a little more interrupted. Heartburn likes to sneak in and wake me up, so does my bladder.
Best moment this week: Enjoying this very mild weather, I'll take 70 degrees any day! I started walking this week, great exercise and also hoping to get this baby to go with the flow of gravity and drop.
Miss Anything: Bending over.
Movement: Yes. No signs of slowing down yet.
Food Cravings: I had egg rolls stuck in my head for weeks, finally last night Hubby and I got Chinese! YUM! I've been extremely thirsty all the time lately, so sucking in water like a horse.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Red Meat YUCK! I made Hubby a burger the other night and bout lost it. The smell is beyond awful.
Gender: Sweet Baby Girl
Labor Signs: Still lots of Braxton Hicks contractions! Walking definitely gets them going! Couple weeks and I feel like they will start being for real contractions.
Symptoms: Things have crossed over the comfort bridge into the land of cranky and uncomfortable, moving, getting up, rolling over, getting out of cars...yadda yadda...all hard to do.
Belly Button in or out: I can almost say it's flat, maybe next week.
Wedding rings on or off: No more rings!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Another great week, my emotions have been in check and I've had lots of happy moments with Hubby.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl! 36 Week Appt on Thursday.

Diaper Bag! Ready to go!

With all the excitement of getting my self ready for the delivery I may have forgotten to share what I have packed up for our little cupcake!

I've chosen two outfits, how big she is will determine which one she rolls home in. Yes she has matching headgear for each respective outfit. I also threw in a plain white onesie just in case.

Sockies, and little mittens so she doesn't scratch her precious face.

Hand sanitizer and moist wipies for germy people who insist on touching her.

& the baby necessities: burp rags, diapers and wipes...

Did I forget anything?

35 Weeks, 5 left!

{My View, Do my shoes match?}
{Side View}

How far along: 35 Weeks {June 5th}
Total weight gain: 21 lbs, Down one.
Maternity clothes: oh YES, and major score: Mama found two great pairs of jeans at a yard sale!
Bump Size: She weighs over 5 pounds! Such a little grower!
Sleep: Sleeping good, started having some pretty crazy delivery dreams!
Best moment this week: BBQ over the weekend, and finishing my burp cloths (not MINE...Reagan's).
Miss Anything: Laying on my stomach.
Movement: Still LOTS! I love waking up with her right under my ribs, I'm pretty sure she curls up in a ball and fits her whole body up there. She still gets the hiccups a couple times a day, sometimes 5 times! She is throwin bows and karate kicking me like crazy.
Food Cravings: MAJOR lemon craze this week, not like lemon-head lemon, but lemon bar lemon!! YUM!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Red Meat YUCK! Poor Hubby married a rare steak eating, meat lovers pizza kinda gal...but He's been stuck with a vegetarian lasagna and salad woman these past few months.
Gender: Sweet Baby Girl
Labor Signs: Loving all my braxton hicks and lower ab contractions! Come on Cervix, lets get ready for a baby! By the end of the day I feel like I've been hit by a truck! My tummy is SO sore I can hardly roll over in bed.
Symptoms: Still enjoying my last days of comfort, I have a feeling things will get rough in the weeks to come.
Belly Button in or out: Hanging out inside still.
Wedding rings on or off: Annnnd they're off! I may or may not glance at Wally world next time I'm there to see if I can't find a replacement for the next few weeks. I just hate rockin the town sans ring. I feel naked without it.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I had a great week! All happy days!
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl! Getting more crossed off my to do list! And getting to enjoy my last days sleeping all night, and napping as I please.

::To Do List::
Pack hospital bag
Cook freezer meals for post delivery
Do a Costco "stock-up"
Organize Hall closet (nesting project)
Nightstand (Bookshelf)
Organize/purge kitchen cupboards (nesting project)
Order glass knobs for Reagan's dresser

Some Fun Projects Hubby & I Have been working on::

{Burp Rags}

I have finally finished my "burp rags", a super easy and fun project! Just the white old fashioned cloth diapers with a piece of fabric sewn to the front. Hope they stay this cute after being puked on.

{BookShelf}

I had been trying to figure out what to do about a nightstand type piece of furniture. I needed something to put Reagan's nightlights on as well as maybe a trinket or two...While scanning the isles at my local wal-mart, this simple 3 shelf bookshelf just jumped out at me. It will be great to put her nightlights on, books, and I can even get some great organizing bins to store her toys as she gets older.

Thanks Hubby for putting it together!

*Notice that the fans haven't been put to work yet this year, thanks to the mild weather we've had.*

Hospital Bag

With a lot of help from other blogs, websites and finally a list from the hospital- I believe I have my list of what will be packed in "the bag".

I'm hoping to have the bag packed with the essentials ahead of time, and be able to throw last minute items in. This is why I am an obsessive list maker**, So I don't forget anything in those last hectic minutes of us rushing out the door.

(I'm totally in love with Reagan's going home outfit!)

I'll be sure to have a couple tank-tops with easy access to the taa-taas, nursing bras, and yoga pants. We'll bring a pillow for me and one for Hubby, so he can rest easy on the lush pull-out couch.

I'm pretty satisfied with what our hospital provides, so I won't be bringing many of my own toiletries. But I'm sure I'll manage to throw in my makeup bag at the last minute.

Plenty of snacks! I've put together my "Snack Pack" with a variety of string cheese, granola bars and my ultimate favorite Cracker sandwiches....there is also a chocolate bar hiding under the string cheese...I'm keeping it in the bottom drawer of the fridge and have already given Hubby the instructions NOT TO FORGET THIS! HaHa, may be more important then the hospital bag itself.

**Truth be told, I'm an obsessive list maker because that's how I was brought up. And I LOVE my list making compulsive behavior.**

Baby Brain Reflections

I cant believe....

How fast this pregnancy has gone
How much I've grown to love my baby carrying body
How excited we are for the future
How hard it is to assemble a pack and play
How addicting it is to shop for a baby
How fast she is growing
How much she moves
How great my hair feels and looks, thanks hormones
How big my ankles can get if I don't take it easy
How excited my mom is to be a Nana
How prepared I feel
That we will have a baby next month
That I only have 6 weeks left, give or take
That it's possible to love someone you haven't met yet this much
