Seven Months

Reagan Grace,

My sweet independent baby, this month you have been such a beautiful well behaved girl. You love to play on the floor with all our toys, rock out in your tea party bouncer or get jiggy in your jump-a-roo! I am so thankful for your patience with me as we move throughout our days, you quietly wait as I get my things in order so I can tend to you.

We have loved seeing your little personality shine through more this month, so many new sounds and silly actions you do. You love to babble and gurgle, and we love to hear it.

The days are flying by, and I cant believe how fast you are growing up. I try and capture so much on videos and in pictures but mostly I just watch you. When I find myself snapping away on the camera I feel like Im too busy to actually enjoy the moment that Im trying desperately to hold on to.

You have really been loving finger foods this month, in fact so much so that you now aren't a fan of the pureed baby food. You like banana, carrots, cereal puffs, yogurt melts, and you even just had pizza for the first time! Ok, it was really just whole wheat crust with a little sauce, but I count it as pizza!

Still no teeth, but I feel like they are sooo close to popping through! Annny day now. Speaking of any day now, crawling! You are so close, but still scooting around here.

My sweet sweet baby, I love you more and more each and everyday. I very clearly remember sitting in my Astronomy 401 class in college and listening to my professor lecture about how the universe is ever and infinitely expanding. I never could grasp the concept of something having no bounds, no starting and no stopping point. Until now. Now that my love for something so beautiful and special is infinitely expanding, I get it. You make my heart full and oh so happy. I know I have said it before, but I am so grateful that you chose me to be your mother.

Hog tie diaper changes, seven month itch, and CRAWLING

We have official reached the stage where I have to wrestle Reagan down to change her diaper. I don't think I've ever in my life been so frustrated while also laughing so hard. That girl can squirm, wiggle and move so fast all the while locking her knees and scooting her poopy butt all over the place. Needless to say, snap pj's are quickly making an exit in our house. Zipper jams from here on out!

I've got the seven month itch for baby number two...maybe its because Reag is losing some of her "baby" characteristics and becoming such an independent girl. Somedays I really feel sad that I'm not pregnant, I loved how I felt to have life growing inside of me. And I definitely feel like since Reag is so much easier to handle I can totally take on a newborn now...we'll see where this plays out. Both Cody and I are thinking in another 4-5 months we will consider baby #2 a little more.

Crawling. Yes. Crawling. In her own special way Reagan can scoot around the living room pretty quickly, she reminds me of a newborn baby colt who is still a bit wobbly, she does these little leg flails and pitches her behind way up in the air. Its so amazing to watch! I will try and figure out how to post a video on here.

But for now, here are some pictures of what we've been up to!

Special Valentines Photo shoot

Happy Valentines Day!!
I obvious have to end our special holiday series with a special holiday photo shoot, of who other than the cutest baby in the world! Reagan and I had a blasty-blast putting together this fun-love-filled shoot.
As always, it's so hard to pick my favorites, but since I can't upload all 78 pictures here are just a few!

I just love her ears!!
Now it's back to reality...until St.Patty's Day!

Love-ing the Snow!

Today we got to spend a special day with people we love in the snow! Ms Danna and Grant came to visit, and we took a trip up to Mt Rainier to spend a little time in the snow!

Although the children just sat in the snow, next year will be a different story! It will be so much fun to see these beebs run and play in the cold snow.

Snail Mail Valentines

Since I missed the ball on sending out Christmas cards, I figured I would send out Valentines....I loved them so much I think I will make this an annual thing!

Valentines Fun!

There have been various posts floating around Pinterest about making bath paint, I wanted to give it a try, so I prepped up some "bath paint" (soap and food coloring) and got the camera ready. Of course I died the soap red for a special Valentines bath.

Needless to say the so-called bath paint was a bust, but I ended up with some pretty great pictures of our beautiful girl.

Have you ever seen cuter rolls?

Jello and Ice sensory play

More Sensory Play!!

Reagan loved this game, I decided that this was going to be messy, so better to do it in the bath.

She was a little apprehensive at first, but after a while she was all about it.

Lunch with Friends

Us Austin girls had the Painter girls over for a little Valentines lunch! In true Ashley fashion I managed to forget to take a picture of the girls playing or enjoying their fine meals, but here is what was on the menu.

Home {Decor}

Now that we have a garage to store all our crap, I mean valuables, we have room to collect holiday decor. It will probably take a few years to compile a decor tote a girl can be proud of, but for now here are some bites of love we have around the house.
