Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today Reagan got to go on her first field trip!

The babes and I crashed it, and we all had a BLAST!

In search of the perfect pumpkin!

Ah-HAH! As soon as she discovered that this pumpkin had a 'tail' it was hers!

Carter and I did a lot of hanging back while the kids in the group did their 'group thing'. It was a little tough because she can still be a little unsteady on her feet, especially while tromping around the rocks/straw/mud in boots. The poor girl kept getting knocked down by excited preschoolers. Sometimes I forget that she is only 1, until she gets in a setting like this.

A 920 lb pumpkin, that's a lot of pie!

The Petting barn:

Pretty typical, Reagan watching from a safe distance, Carter thiiiiis close to crawling in there with them.

Reagan's pride and joy!

It was a cute little adventure, there were some other activities that the kids did that I wasn't able to get photos of, did you know balancing three young kids in a group of 30+ can be difficult at times?!

I am so so glad, and lucky, that all three kids were on their best behavior.

And just for fun, here's the girls last year at the patch:
