Eight Months

Linky Boy!

Guess I procrastinated long enough on your eight month update. I was hoping it would keep time from passing, looks like I was wrong.

I will say, in my defense, I did take your pictures a few weeks ago but was too lazy to change the crib sheet from white to buffalo check. Then when I loaded the pictures on the computer I deemed them unblogable, so I finally got around to changing your sheets and here we are.

Okay, so down to business.

You're eight (and a half) months.

The sunshine to our cloudy days.

Love to be in the action.

Demand to be fed if anyone within a five mile radius is eating.

Fiiiinally sitting up on your own.

I think you're starting to cut your top teeth.

Love to feed yourself snacks, fries, & waffle chunks.

Just got your third haircut.

Oh yeah, and starting to do this...

You are seriously the sweetest thing, and you surly have us all wrapped around your fingers.

Love you bud bud.

Life update

We've all been sick around here, lots of sniffles, sneezing and record amounts of kleenex being run through the washing machine.

I think we have finally recovered from the holidays. Now, time to tackle those new years resolutions. Having three young kids is my hall pass to be late to anything, the new year included. Meal planning and monthly budgeting being the top focus of my 2016 goals. Coming in close second and third would be getting my fitbit steps in and completing my daily gratitude journal. So far the journal has taken a back seat, or maybe a bottom of the trunk seat, through the month.

The biggest update of late, Cj started school! The school Reagan goes to offers a younger class twice a week. In hopes of gaining a little sanity back, we signed her up! She loves it and the teacher says she fits right in! The first day she went I dropped both girls off and came home to a quiet 2.5 hours with Lincoln. I sat on the couch for 3 minutes wondering what I was supposed to do. Then cleaned like a crazy person until it was time for preschool pickup. It was an amazing morning, to say the least.

Also on Carter's horizon, TWO years old! Which is a bit confusing, she is so advanced, if told me she was only one I wouldnt believe you. We will be tackling potty training soon, as soon as I can muster the energy.

We're all stuck in the Winter blues, dreaming of Spring adventures and Summer sunshine!

A Look at 2015

Happy New Year!!

Another year in the books for us Austin's. Sometimes life seems to pass you by, before you know it the year is gone. But when you sit down and link some of your favorite blog posts together, you realize that you did actually do things this year.

Let this picture less post guide you through our year, it was a good one. And hopefully 2016 will be just as good to us (and you).

We vacationed:
We hit up the Mountain for snow, the Beach for sun and Vegas for fun.

We diy'd:
We worked on the outside, the back patio got a new purpose, the front yard got a little love (and since has been re-re-did and even the house got a new coat of paint. On the inside, we refinished the dressers from Hell Ikea, gave Lincoln a nursery, Cody constructed mini Bunks for the girls, and the kitchen got a makeover.

We celebrated:
Carter's first birthday, we made it to see another anniversary, our third and last baby was born, Reagan turned three, I turned 23 again, and Cody hit the big 3-0!!

We holiday'ed:
We hit up all the major holidays St Patty'sEasterFather's DayHalloweenThanksgiving & Christmas

& The girls grew up right before our eyes:
Reaggy started school, & Carter got a big girl bed

Of course there was a little more to the story, I somehow managed to post 116 blog posts which is a whole lot of selfies (sorry bout that). Thanks for hanging in there with me. Lets see what kind of trouble we can get into in 2016.
